Americo Announces GMVIR Increase, Effective 1/1/2024
|

The Guaranteed Minimum Value Interest Rate (GMVIR) on
ClassicMark® and
LibertyMark Freedom®
fixed indexed annuities from Americo Financial Life and Annuity Insurance Company is increasing to 2.80%,
effective with contracts issued on or after Monday, January 1, 2024.
|
|
The total Americo Guaranteed Minimum Value available upon full surrender, death,
or annuitization is equal to 87.5% of premium,
minus any gross withdrawals and applicable premium tax,
plus interest credited at the Guaranteed Minimum Value Interest Rate.
The GMVIR can range from 1% to 3% and is subject to change quarterly.
