Dell To Close Rome, GA, Office
In order to consolidate service areas and continue its commitment to providing exceptional service to Legacy Producers, Dell has made the decision to close the Rome, GA, office and move all Rome’s customer service and processes to Lincoln, NE. This transition will be final on October 19, 2011. Legacy’s executive team has been involved in the transition process to help ensure a seamless and successful outcome.
Housing the Legacy service teams in Lincoln, NE, provides:

Closer interaction with the shared services teams
(e.g., incoming mail, outgoing mail, accounting, etc.),
providing for an overall higher level of service.

Proximity to the senior management team of Dell Insurance Services,
allowing expedited escalations and issue resolution, as well as
closer proximity to and better information-sharing with the Dell
Insurance Services teams supporting other clients. This allows for
earlier adoption of best practices.

Enhanced disaster recovery capabilities through the presence of a
business continuity site in Omaha, allowing the existing LMG-specific
resources to service the block from an alternate site in case of
business interruption at Dell’s primary location in Lincoln.

A pool of resources from other Dell Insurance Services teams with
insurance industry knowledge, as the portfolio grows. The ability to hire highly
qualified resources from a labor pool of over 1.1 million in the
Lincoln/Omaha area that also houses 12 other insurance companies.

Dell’s commitment to Legacy has not changed. The toll-free phone number is remaining the same;
the mailing addresses are remaining the same; and processes and procedures are remaining the same.
You may be speaking to different people when you call the toll-free number, but the team in Lincoln
has been the primary back-up for many of the calls and processes that have been handled by the
Rome office and the team in Lincoln is knowledgeable about Legacy products and customers.
