Americo Requires New Suitability Form in California
To comply with new California regulations related to suitability in annuity transactions, Americo Financial Life and Annuity Insurance Company now requires the California Supplemental Suitability Form 16-239-1 (11/16) with all annuity applications in California, effective immediately. The new form, which is required in addition to Financial Suitability Form AAA8378-LM (02/16), can be downloaded from The Forms Store on LegacyNet® and should be used with all LibertyMarksm fixed indexed annuity applications. California new business may be returned and/or there may be a delay in the processing of the application until the form is received by Americo.
